It’s been far, far too long since I made a post. But here I am, posting. Crazy huh? Y’all probably thought I forgot about you. Not the case. In fact, I have something that will hopefully make up for the long absence. First off, I am announcing a new beat-tape by Vinyl Meltdown’s own Remot. He has been furiously behind the boards, putting together “Beat Street,” a compilation of instrumentals that are like music to your ears. 19 tracks long, this tape is sure to give you a good feel of what Remot is all about.
Next is this: I am going to be devoting some good time into making the site look nicer. It looks a little too generic for our tastes right now. We here at Vinyl Meltdown like to inject a little bit of flavor into everything we do, so why should our website be any different? Get ready for some spicy new images, and perhaps some contracted artwork from some of my art-school buddies.
Thirdly, a slew of videos that reflect what I have been listening to, and what I think you should check out.
Heartbreaker – Teriyaki Boyz
Constance – Mr. J Medeiros
Sunshine – Atmosphere
Here (in your arms) (remix) – Wonda
Bomb the Blocks (feat. Persia) – Bassnectar
Stronger – KanYe West
The People – Common
Hip Hop Police/Evening News – Chamillionaire (feat. Slick Rick)
Finally, I promise to be more regular, and to hit you guys with lots of music to check out. Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully I’ve started to make it worth your while.
